Greetings from Diana and Leslie!

Mountain Colors is celebrating our 19th year in business! We started in 1992 with four yarns and seven colorways. Our number of yarns has grown to 21 and we have increased our colorways to 60+ luscious colors that have been in inspired by the mountains, rivers and woodlands that surround us.

Mountain Colors is a small business located in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana. We produce multi-colored, hand dyed yarns for knitters, weavers, crocheters and other fiber artists. We began dyeing 19 years ago when we had young children at home. We wanted interesting jobs
with very flexible hours so we started hand dyeing beautiful high quality wools in our kitchens. As we grew we moved into our dye studio and hired a wonderful group of people to handle the endless details and who race to keep up with your orders. Our employees are as much a part of Mountain Colors as we are and we are very grateful for all their help.

We strive to be a pleasant full service company. We enjoy visiting with you on the phone and are always interested in your questions and comments. We are proud to have had the chance to work with you over the last 19 years and we look forward to seeing and talking with
you in the coming months.

The past two decades have been amazing, challenging and joyful - we feel so grateful for the experience. Thank you to all our wonderful customers for supporting us through thick and thin. Mountain Colors will continue to bring you beautiful hand-painted yarns!
